During April 2025, Bremsspur contributed to the EdgeTX/edgetx repository by addressing a critical build issue affecting the Color LCD startup and shutdown logic. By identifying and correcting a macro definition typo in the C++ codebase, Bremsspur resolved a compilation failure that previously prevented the color LCD features from building reliably across different configurations. This targeted bug fix, which involved careful analysis of preprocessor directives and macro usage, restored stability to the build process without introducing new features. The work demonstrated proficiency in C++ and debugging, focusing on code correctness and maintainability within a complex embedded systems project.
