Developed two automation-driven features for the evcc-io/evcc repository, focusing on release management and service reliability. Built an automated CHANGELOG workflow for Hassio addons that fetches release data via the GitHub API, manages secure token usage, and formats readable release notes by stripping commit hashes. Leveraged GitHub Actions, YAML, and Shell scripting to create a reusable workflow template supporting both nightly and release builds. Added a Docker healthcheck to the Hassio addon service, enhancing runtime observability and uptime monitoring on port 7070. The work demonstrated strong CI/CD, containerization, and DevOps skills, delivering measurable improvements in release discipline and reliability.
