Worked on enhancing property serialization within the linkedin/rest.li repository, focusing on the D2 component. Developed a feature that allows a ServicePropertiesJsonSerializer to be passed to the XdsToD2PropertiesAdaptor, enabling more flexible and customizable property serialization workflows. The implementation involved refactoring the _clientServicesConfig field to protected, supporting better extensibility, and included a project version update to reflect these changes. The work was carried out using Java and backend development practices, emphasizing code quality improvements. This contribution addressed the need for adaptable serialization in distributed systems, laying groundwork for future extensibility and maintainability within the D2 service infrastructure.
