Worked on the IBM/CodeEngine repository to enhance the reliability and maintainability of the Fleet Sandbox Script. Focused on DevOps practices and bash scripting, the work introduced region-based validation to ensure the script executes only in regions with valid VSI images, reducing the risk of mis-provisioning and wasted resources. Targeted code cleanup improved readability and maintainability, streamlining future development and debugging efforts. By refining the script’s validation logic and structure, the changes minimized operational risk in sandbox provisioning and contributed to a more robust deployment pipeline. The improvements leveraged cloud infrastructure knowledge and scripting expertise to optimize user experience.
