Worked on the IBM/CodeEngine repository to enhance security and developer experience by implementing secure gRPC transport with credentials. Focused on enabling secure client communication and allowing more flexible endpoint configuration, the work involved updating the gRPC client to support transport credentials and revising example code to demonstrate credentials integration. Emphasized security best practices and repository hygiene, ensuring that downstream services could adopt secure configurations with reduced friction. Utilized Go for development, applying expertise in cloud development, gRPC, and security hardening. No major bugs were reported or fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery and documentation improvements.
