Worked on the Metrolist repository to deliver a comprehensive German localization enhancement, enabling full German language support within the Android application. Leveraged XML for string management and utilized Weblate to achieve 100% translation coverage, integrating 214 German strings to improve accessibility for German-speaking users. The approach established a scalable workflow for future internationalization efforts, allowing for efficient updates and collaboration on additional locales. Focused on localization and translation, the work enhanced user onboarding and engagement by making the app more accessible to a broader audience. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development and language integration.
