Worked on enhancing Sonarr/Sonarr’s media parser to support Korean 'F1RST' releases, addressing the challenge of accurately identifying non-English media formats. The approach involved updating regular expression patterns within the backend to recognize new naming conventions and adding comprehensive unit tests to ensure correct parsing of Korean titles. Using C# and focusing on backend development, the work improved automation and reduced the need for manual corrections in media libraries. Throughout the process, strong test coverage and commit traceability were maintained, resulting in a robust feature addition without introducing new bugs. The contribution deepened Sonarr’s support for diverse international media sources.
