Worked on the geneontology/go-site repository to enhance data reliability and governance through targeted configuration and data management tasks. Updated the FlyBase data source configuration in fb.yaml, shifting gene association and product datasets to stable S3 FTP releases, which improved data freshness and reproducibility for downstream analytics. Addressed user metadata hygiene by cleaning obsolete records and refreshing group contact information in users.yaml and group_contacts.csv, supporting accurate access controls and business continuity. Leveraged skills in YAML and CSV file handling, metadata management, and Git-based version control to ensure traceable, high-quality updates that strengthened both data pipelines and internal data governance practices.
