Delivered a complete French localization for the gristlabs/grist-core repository, translating all 2,311 user-facing strings to ensure full language coverage within the Grist application. Leveraged JSON and Weblate to manage the translation workflow, establishing a maintainable pipeline for future localization updates. Focused on internationalization and localization best practices, the work enhanced accessibility and onboarding for French-speaking users, supporting broader international adoption. The approach emphasized maintainable translation processes and seamless integration with the existing client UI. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on expanding language support and improving the overall user experience for non-English speakers.
