Worked on evolving cloud backup configuration within the gomorpheus/morpheus-openapi repository, focusing on enabling support for multiple backup providers and improving API clarity. The engineering effort centered on introducing a new backupProviders property in YAML-based cloud configuration schemas, replacing the older backupMode approach to allow more flexible and scalable provider integration. This change consolidated backup provider configuration, making it easier to manage and document migration paths for users. The work demonstrated a strong grasp of API design, YAML schema development, and cloud configuration best practices, resulting in a more adaptable and maintainable configuration model for cloud resource backups.
