Worked on the SAP/wdio-qmate-service repository, focusing on maintaining and upgrading package dependencies to improve service stability. Addressed a critical compatibility issue by upgrading dependencies to version 3.6.1, updating both package.json and package-lock.json files to ensure seamless integration with the latest features and fixes. Utilized skills in dependency management and version control, specifically working with JSON to maintain reproducible builds and continuous integration reliability. Documented the changes with clear commit messaging to support traceability and future maintenance. This work enhanced downstream reliability for QA/Qmate workflows by closing compatibility gaps and ensuring access to the most recent package improvements.
