Worked on the SAP/wdio-qmate-service repository to enhance the reliability and maintainability of automated UI testing. Focused on stabilizing UI5 click interactions by refactoring the underlying logic to address timeout flakiness, resulting in more dependable UI actions. Introduced a concurrent polling strategy for element discovery, which reduced wait times and improved test stability. Updated test coverage, selectors, and assertion parameters to align with the new interaction model, ensuring accurate verification. Leveraged JavaScript, TypeScript, and WebdriverIO to simplify the codebase and improve test infrastructure, ultimately enabling faster CI feedback loops and clearer code organization for ongoing test automation efforts.
