Worked on the cdce8p/ha-core repository to enhance the reliability and correctness of the UniFi Protect integration, focusing on backend development and debugging. Addressed a bug related to incorrect debug log key usage in the ufp_set function and resolved issues with undefined types for translation-key entities, leading to clearer and more actionable logging for device settings. The technical approach emphasized improving log clarity to streamline triage and operability in production environments. Utilized Python and logging best practices to ensure maintainable code and efficient debugging workflows. No new features were released during this period, with efforts concentrated on stability and maintainability.
