During May 2025, Paul Hitica developed foundational backend and forum features for the MalosAlex/UBB-SE-2025-924-2 and HorvatAris/UBB-SE-2025-Steam repositories. He scaffolded a new ASP.NET Core Web API, implementing controllers for user management, collections, and reviews, and built secure MVC user profile and settings flows using C# and HTML. Paul introduced a forum service layer with repository interfaces and remote proxies, enabling post and comment operations. He also fixed a forum scoring bug to ensure accurate post rankings and stabilized project builds through code cleanup and dependency management. The work demonstrated solid backend architecture and maintainable code practices.
