Worked on enhancing cloud security and backend reliability across Datadog’s infrastructure-as-code and agent platforms. Delivered multi-policy Cloud Workload Security agent rule support in the Datadog Terraform provider repository, improving rule management and test coverage through targeted API integration and Go-based acceptance tests. In the DataDog/datadog-agent repository, implemented JSON and YAML serialization for HumanReadableDuration within the secl library, enabling robust deserialization of security rules and supporting backend adoption of the actions data model. Focused on backend development, data serialization, and testing, the work emphasized maintainable code, traceable commits, and improved reliability for rule-driven workflows without introducing new bugs.
