Worked on enhancing accessibility in the Skyscanner/backpack-android repository by developing a canvas-based contrast style for the BpkTopNavBar component using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. This feature aimed to provide a more accessible navigation UI, aligning with the design system and improving usability for all users. The implementation included updating code, creating new tests to validate contrast rendering, and revising documentation to guide usage of the new feature. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts focused on feature delivery, quality assurance, and documentation. The work demonstrated proficiency in Android development and front end engineering within a Compose-based environment.
