Worked on the kubernetes-sigs/kueue repository to enhance project governance by developing and documenting a formal Dependency Lifecycle Policy. Focused on strengthening security compliance and open source governance, the work involved authoring DEPENDENCY_LIFECYCLE.md and updating SECURITY-INSIGHTS.yaml to reference the new policy, ensuring alignment with OpenSSF Security Insights standards. Leveraged skills in documentation and YAML configuration to improve transparency for audits and streamline future dependency updates. No code changes or bug fixes were introduced during this period, but the updates established a foundation for safer dependency management and clearer contributor onboarding within the project’s existing open source framework.
