Worked on the grist-core repository to enhance the user experience for French-speaking users by completing full French localization of the user interface, covering 2,295 strings through Weblate. Focused on improving clarity in the webhook-related UI by adding the English equivalent in parentheses to key labels, reducing confusion for users navigating between languages. Utilized front end development skills and JSON to implement these changes in a single, production-ready commit. The work expanded accessibility for French users and streamlined localization processes, demonstrating attention to detail in translation and interface labeling while ensuring the application was ready for broader international deployment.
