During August 2025, Michael Paus refactored the deployment command-line interface for the mit-submit/A2rchi repository, focusing on improving configuration management and usability. He replaced ambiguous boolean deployment options with explicit command-line flags, making the deployment process clearer and reducing the risk of operator error. This work was implemented in Python and YAML, leveraging his skills in CLI development and documentation. Michael also updated the user and developer guides to ensure consistency between the codebase and documentation. The changes emphasized maintainability and stability, providing a more transparent deployment workflow without introducing new bugs or instability during the development period.
