IRAR focused on enhancing the reliability and coverage of the Scheduler Scorer component within the neuralmagic/gateway-api-inference-extension repository. Over the course of a month, IRAR expanded the Go-based backend test suite by introducing a dummy scorer and picker, refining validation for the complete Result structure, and adding load-based scoring scenarios. This work addressed test flakiness and improved the stability of the test setup, ensuring more consistent CI outcomes. By deepening test coverage and validating edge cases in the scoring logic, IRAR increased production readiness and confidence in inference routing decisions, leveraging skills in backend development, Go, and automated testing.
