IRAR focused on enhancing the reliability and coverage of the Scheduler Scorer component within the neuralmagic/gateway-api-inference-extension repository. Over the course of a month, IRAR expanded the test suite by introducing a dummy scorer and picker, refining validation for the complete Result structure, and implementing load-based scoring scenarios. Using Go and backend development skills, IRAR addressed test setup issues and reduced flakiness, resulting in more stable and trustworthy CI outcomes. These improvements strengthened the production readiness of inference routing logic, enabling safer deployments and faster iteration cycles while ensuring that edge cases in scoring logic were caught earlier in development.
