Worked on backend development for the Metrolist repository, focusing on improving the reliability and accuracy of the lyrics workflow. Addressed a bug in the Cyrillic Lyrics Romanization validation, ensuring that only valid Cyrillic text is processed for romanization. This change prevented incorrect romanization of lyrics containing isolated Cyrillic characters, such as the Cyrillic e, which previously led to user-visible errors. The solution involved tightening input validation logic using Kotlin, with careful attention to code clarity and maintainability. Collaborated through code review and co-authored commits, maintaining performance while enhancing the quality and correctness of the lyrics display process.
