Over a two-month period, contributed to the mrousavy/swift and swiftlang/swift-build repositories by delivering targeted improvements in initialization logic and build system configuration. Enhanced the Hux class and Foo struct to support broader initialization scenarios in Swift, while addressing a nil-default argument extraction issue to improve API reliability and code generation accuracy. In swift-build, removed deprecated configuration flags from the AppIntentsMetadata spec and associated tests, streamlining the build pipeline and reducing maintenance overhead. Demonstrated proficiency in C++, Swift, and backend development, with a focus on code refactoring, testing, and maintaining repository health through careful build system updates.
