Worked on enhancing input fidelity and user interaction for Toaplan-based drivers within the mamedev/mame repository. Focused on standardizing the test switch input by migrating its display from a dip switch to a standard input, which improved consistency and reliability across devices. Removed the default keybind for the test switch to prevent conflicts and streamline configuration, addressing common sources of user confusion. Utilized C for driver and emulator development, applying configuration expertise to refine input handling. The work demonstrated a targeted approach to feature development, delivering a single, well-scoped improvement that addressed both technical and usability aspects within the emulator environment.
