Jais worked on preparing the block/kotlin-formatter repository for the 1.2.0 release, focusing on aligning the project’s configuration with the latest IntelliJ IDE version. Using Gradle for build management and version control systems to ensure traceability, Jais updated the project version and IDE dependencies to streamline the release process. The work, implemented in Groovy and documented in Markdown, aimed to reduce release risk and improve the developer experience by maintaining consistent environments. Although the scope was limited to a single feature and did not involve bug fixes, the changes provided clear release traceability and enhanced project maintainability for future development.
