Worked on the Questie/Questie repository to enhance the localization pipeline by cleaning up legacy data and improving efficiency. Focused on Lua programming, the developer removed outdated compatibility code for custom localizations and eliminated unused quest description data, resulting in simplified data structures. This technical approach reduced localization processing time and decreased the overall data footprint, supporting faster load times and improved scalability for translation addons. The work also included documenting the removal of legacy data, which strengthened code quality and future maintainability. Throughout the project, the developer applied skills in Lua and localization to streamline workflows and optimize performance.
