Worked on the UTDNebula/jupiter repository to enhance the EventTimeAlert component, focusing on both user experience and code maintainability. Addressed a user-facing issue by correcting pluralization in time-remaining messages, ensuring that singular and plural forms display accurately for improved clarity. Refactored the component’s formatting to streamline the codebase, making it more readable and easier to maintain for future development. These changes were implemented using React and TypeScript, applying front end development best practices. The updates reduced the risk of UI regressions and established a cleaner foundation for future event-related features, supporting faster and more reliable iteration going forward.
