Worked on the bpg/terraform-provider-proxmox repository to enhance network provisioning reliability in dynamic infrastructure deployments. Focused on backend development using Go, the developer addressed a critical issue where provider timeouts occurred during VLAN and bridge creation, particularly in resource loops utilizing for_each and count. By updating the network reload timeout and introducing retry logic, the solution reduced failures and improved time-to-provision, especially when ifreload -a was slow. This bug fix improved deployment reliability and operator confidence in automated workflows, aligning with project standards for maintainability. The work demonstrated strong skills in Go, network programming, and collaborative code delivery.
