Janniry focused on expanding localization support for the Jellyfin project by delivering Spanish (Dominican Republic) translations to the jellyfin/jellyfin repository. Using JSON and leveraging the Weblate platform, Janniry implemented a new es_DO locale, enabling improved accessibility and usability for Spanish-speaking users in the Dominican Republic. The work centered on translation and localization, with no major bug fixes during the period, and contributed to Jellyfin’s broader localization roadmap. By strengthening the translation workflow, Janniry laid the groundwork for ongoing regional updates, ensuring that future releases can more easily incorporate additional language support and maintain a consistent user experience.
