Developed and delivered Literary Chinese localization for the Jellyfin core application, expanding accessibility for users who read this language. The work focused on integrating translations efficiently using the Weblate workflow, with all changes tracked through commit-driven development in the jellyfin/jellyfin repository. Leveraging skills in localization, translation, and internationalization, the developer ensured that the new language support was robust and ready for ongoing open-source collaboration. The project utilized JSON for translation files and emphasized cross-functional teamwork to strengthen Jellyfin’s localization processes. This contribution broadened the platform’s reach and improved its readiness for future multilingual enhancements within the open-source community.
