Worked on enhancing the text editor experience in the factorialco/factorial-one repository, focusing on user interface reliability and content integrity. Developed a PasteSanitizer in React and TypeScript to normalize non-breaking spaces during paste operations, ensuring that pasted content maintains proper word structure and reduces formatting issues. Additionally, improved the notes editor by disabling scroll anchoring within the scroll container, resulting in smoother navigation and preventing unexpected jumps while editing. These targeted front end improvements addressed common pain points in rich-text editing, leveraging CSS and modern JavaScript frameworks to deliver a more stable and productive authoring environment for users.
