Worked on backend stability for the tauri-apps/cef-rs repository, focusing on refining message routing and input validation in Rust. Addressed a specific edge case in the cefQuery API by implementing a targeted fix for the optional 'persistent' field, ensuring undefined values are filtered out and only valid boolean types are processed. This adjustment reduced runtime failures related to invalid argument types and improved the reliability of the system’s message handling. The work demonstrated careful attention to correctness and maintainability, aligning with project governance and laying groundwork for future enhancements in Cef integration using Rust and backend development best practices.
