Worked on stabilizing GPU workflows and improving Windows compatibility for the tauri-apps/cef-rs repository. Addressed a recurring GPU process instability by updating the application manifest file, explicitly declaring compatibility with various Windows versions, including Windows 10. This targeted fix, implemented using XML and leveraging expertise in manifest files and Windows development, reduced GPU process crashes and led to more reliable GPU operations across supported environments. The approach provided a repeatable method for manifest-based compatibility, resulting in lower crash rates and more predictable application behavior. The work focused on bug resolution rather than feature development, emphasizing stability and maintainability improvements.
