Worked on enhancing the tauri-apps/cef-rs repository by developing robust C bindings for the CEF 147+ component updater, focusing on forward compatibility and streamlined integration. Leveraged C programming and header file management to introduce the cef_component_updater_capi.h header, protected by a version guard to ensure future-proofing and maintainability. Integrated these new bindings directly into the release process, enabling automatic inclusion for the first CEF 147-targeted release and reducing future integration risks. Emphasized clear traceability from commit to release, utilizing version control best practices to support ongoing code health and accelerate upgrade cycles for the cef-rs codebase.
