In November 2024, the focus was on improving observability for the redhat-developer/rhdh-operator. Delivered OpenTelemetry metrics exposure via a new 9464 port integrated into Backstage and RHDH configurations, enabling real-time monitoring, dashboards, and alerting for the operator. This work provides actionable metrics to drive faster issue detection and improved reliability. No major bugs were reported as fixed within this scope. Month 2024-10 focused on integrating Nexus Repository Manager as a dynamic plugin within janus-idp/backstage-showcase. Delivered a Dynamic Nexus Repository Manager Plugin Wrapper, updated configuration keys and package references to reflect the dynamic plugin approach, and updated the README to point to the correct plugin location. No major bugs fixed this month; maintenance centered on plugin infrastructure alignment and documentation improvements to reduce onboarding friction and ensure future-proof plugin orchestration.
