Worked on enhancing the cleanup process for the kubeovn/kube-ovn repository by improving the cleanup script to ensure more thorough removal of Kube-OVN components. Focused on automating the deletion of two additional ConfigMaps and specific RoleBindings within the kube-system namespace, the changes aimed to prevent leftover resources after upgrades or removals. Leveraged DevOps practices and Kubernetes expertise, utilizing shell scripting to implement these improvements. This update reduced the risk of resource conflicts and simplified cluster maintenance, contributing to a cleaner operational state. The work demonstrated attention to operational reliability and addressed a practical need for robust resource management in Kubernetes environments.
