During December 2025, Javier Menéndez Castellano focused on stabilizing the entity definitions workflow in the newrelic/entity-definitions repository. He addressed a production risk by rolling back recent INFRAHOST-to-NGINXSERVER changes, restoring the OpenTelemetry dashboard configuration and relationship definitions to a previously stable state. Using his expertise in infrastructure management and monitoring, Javier executed the rollback with minimal disruption, ensuring observability was preserved throughout the process. He worked primarily with JSON and YAML to document and retrofit rollback practices, enhancing the workflow’s resilience and providing a clear audit trail for future incident response. This work demonstrated careful attention to operational stability.
