During November 2025, Jom developed a Grouped Notifications UI for the block/goose repository, focusing on enhancing user feedback during extension loading. Using React and TypeScript, Jom implemented robust error handling within the extension initialization workflow, reducing ambiguity for users in failure scenarios. The new component groups notifications to provide clearer, more actionable feedback, and establishes a foundation for future telemetry and observability improvements. Jom ensured code quality through conventional commits and signed-off-by practices, emphasizing maintainability and traceability. This work addressed a key usability gap in the extension-loading process, demonstrating depth in front end development and thoughtful testing practices.
