Worked on the konflux-ci/release-service-catalog repository to enhance the reliability and predictability of the release pipeline over a two-month period. Focused on stabilizing build type handling by implementing explicit logic in the update-package-collection task, ensuring correct differentiation between draft and normal builds based on push type. Addressed a bug in the Latest Build Promotion filter by refining the max_by() function’s filter expression, which ensured that only the actual latest build was promoted, reducing the risk of stale artifact releases. Utilized CI/CD, DevOps practices, and scripting languages such as Shell and YAML to deliver targeted improvements and maintain code quality.
