Worked on the ourongxing/newsnow repository to address a critical backend issue by migrating the Kaopu module’s data source URLs to a new storage location. This update ensured reliable data retrieval and improved the stability of the data pipeline, reducing the risk of outages and data drift for downstream features and dashboards. The solution was implemented in TypeScript with a focus on API integration and backend development, using targeted testing and clear, traceable commits. Collaboration was emphasized through proper attribution and Git hygiene, resulting in a concise, well-documented fix that enhanced data freshness and resilience within the newsnow ingestion process.
