During February 2025, Ktylindus focused on enhancing automated testing within the gradle/gradle repository by expanding the BuildScanPluginSmokeTest to include compatibility checks for Gradle version 3.19.2. This work involved updating Groovy-based test scripts to broaden the test matrix, thereby increasing the range of Gradle versions covered in continuous integration. By extending test coverage, Ktylindus improved early regression detection and provided greater confidence in release stability for future Gradle updates. The technical approach centered on build automation and testing, leveraging Groovy and Gradle to ensure that new and legacy versions remained compatible, ultimately supporting risk mitigation in the release process.
