Worked on the openwrt/packages repository to enhance build system compatibility across diverse Linux environments. Addressed a bug in the LXC meson.build configuration by removing host OS inference, which previously caused failures on less common distributions such as NixOS. This change improved build reproducibility and artifact consistency by making host-to-target configuration explicit, resulting in more reliable cross-distro packaging. Utilized skills in Linux packaging, Makefile scripting, and build system configuration to streamline the workflow. Additionally, performed targeted code cleanup by removing an inactive maintainer from the Makefile, simplifying ongoing maintenance and reducing potential confusion for future contributors.
