During the month, contributed a schema refactor to the Benchling-Open-Source/allotropy repository, focusing on reorganizing the SensorChip document within the Binding Affinity Analyzer schema. This work involved restructuring the document hierarchy, adding lot number and custom information fields to enhance traceability, and adjusting the SensorChip’s placement within the MeasurementDocument. Additionally, standardized the representation of Nanomolar units across data pipelines to improve consistency in analytics and reporting. Leveraged Python and data modeling expertise to implement these changes, emphasizing schema refactoring best practices. The update improved data quality, extensibility, and downstream processing, while demonstrating collaborative development and disciplined version control.
