Worked on the Sonarr/Sonarr repository to deliver a feature that enhances the reliability of custom list imports by implementing redirect-aware HTTP request handling. Addressed failures caused by URL redirects during data ingestion by enabling AllowRedirect in the HttpRequestBuilder and integrating this capability into the CustomImportProxy. This approach reduced manual intervention and improved import success rates when fetching custom lists from external sources. Demonstrated skills in backend development and API integration using C#, focusing on maintainable network I/O configuration. The work contributed to more robust data workflows and supported ongoing improvements in the repository’s custom list import functionality.
