Worked on the Metrolist repository to establish the foundation for internationalization by introducing initial Hindi localization for the application’s user interface. Leveraging Android development skills and XML, the developer integrated a Weblate-based translation workflow, enabling collaborative and scalable localization efforts. The first feature involved translating a subset of UI strings into Hindi, covering 8 out of 614 entries, which marked the beginning of broader accessibility for Hindi-speaking users. This groundwork supports future language expansion and improved accessibility, ensuring the application can reach a wider audience. The work focused on localization and translation, with no bug fixes during the period.
