Worked on the Metrolist repository to deliver Vietnamese localization and enhance the user interface for Vietnamese-speaking users. Focused on Android development, the work involved translating 420 out of 716 UI strings using XML and establishing a Weblate-based workflow to streamline ongoing localization efforts. The updates included groundwork for an AI lyrics translation feature, introducing new strings and updating existing ones to support future AI-enabled capabilities. By making the UI locale-aware and tracking translation progress, the project expanded accessibility and improved the user experience for international audiences, while laying a technical foundation for incremental updates and further language support.
