Worked on the 18F/handbook repository to enhance documentation clarity around governance processes, focusing on the lifecycle.md file. The main contribution involved expanding the A&A acronym to “Assessment and Authorization,” aligning the documentation with GSA standards and reducing ambiguity in the A&A workflow. This update aimed to improve onboarding for new contributors and facilitate cross-team collaboration by making terminology more accessible. The work was completed using Markdown and centered on documentation best practices, emphasizing consistency, traceability, and adherence to Git-based workflows. No additional features or bug fixes were addressed during this period, with all efforts dedicated to documentation improvements.
