In February 2025, KJH contributed to the pcottle/learnGitBranching repository by enhancing the instructional content for the FakeTeamwork exercise. Focusing on user onboarding, KJH updated fakeTeamwork.js to clarify the required Git workflow, specifically detailing the process of creating a local commit before pulling remote changes and performing a merge. This targeted documentation change, implemented using JavaScript and Git, aimed to reduce user confusion and improve success rates for the exercise. The work was limited in scope, involving a single feature update with no bug fixes, and maintained the stability of the project while improving the clarity of user guidance.
