During January 2026, contributed to the mavlink/qgroundcontrol repository by delivering VTOL Preflight Checklist UI support. Addressed a regression where the VTOL preflight checklist UI failed to load by integrating VTOLChecklist.qml into the CMakeLists.txt, ensuring the interface functions correctly for the VTOL vehicle class. This work restored reliable preflight flow for VTOL operations, reducing risk and improving operator confidence. Demonstrated proficiency in QML for UI development and CMake for build configuration, with careful attention to version control and build hygiene. The solution improved build reliability and enhanced the user experience for VTOL operators within the QGroundControl project.
