Konkers developed a configurable Bazel invocation feature for rust_analyzer in the bazelbuild/rules_rust repository, enabling support for the --config flag to facilitate analysis under custom configurations and alternate platforms. This work involved integrating Bazel’s configuration management with Rust tooling, allowing developers to tailor analysis workflows to specific environments. Using Rust and Shell scripting, Konkers validated the integration with custom Bazel workflows and ensured compatibility with continuous integration systems. The feature enhanced flexibility for developers working with Rust and Bazel, and Konkers contributed to code review and documentation to support broader adoption. No major bugs were addressed during this period.
