Over a two-month period, contributed to dockur/lemmy and thunderbird-android by delivering security-focused features and workflow improvements. Developed image access controls for private Lemmy instances, refactoring logic in Rust to clarify ownership and enhance maintainability. Introduced invitation-based registration and streamlined invite management, adding revocation, pagination, and comprehensive API tests. For thunderbird-android, improved CI/CD by implementing nightly APK pruning on the FTP server using Bash and YAML, reducing storage and enhancing debugging with verbose output. Also updated release documentation to ensure workflow accuracy. Work demonstrated a focus on backend development, API reliability, and robust DevOps practices across multiple repositories.
